Puppy Love Is In The Air

Before my fellow writer Steve Yates yells at me for not posting to my blog since February, I thought I'd post a quick update: we might be getting another dog!

You can read more on my Daily Dog Chow blog, but basically I'm having puppy cravings and we may have found the perfect dog to fit in our family: a 13-week-old male merle with a laid back personality. (Look at that face! Isn't he adorable?)

I called the breeder this morning, and could hear cows mooing in the background, so I know she's super super busy. They have an actual farm and their Border collies are working dogs. But I think that by the weekend we'll be able to drive out to Franklinville and have Scout meet the puppy to see how they get along, and have the breeder give us the stamp of approval.
